The basics of numerology

The basics of Pythagorean Numerology

How does numerology work?
The very first question I asked when numerology was exposed to me was exactly why does it work. The second question was how does it work. Well, in case we can answer these questions it would not be an occult study, would it? Is it a God force? Do numbers have a thing or vibrations that way? Who understands? Just be independent and give it a try.

Pythagoras, the Father of Modern Numerology Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician which lived from 569 470 B.C., is said by many being the creator of a great deal of what we call numerology today. The particular beginnings of numerology predate Pythagoras, the most favored being the really ancient Hebrew Kabbalah. In the 20th, the outdated discipline seems to magically reappear in the form of a compilation of books published from 1911 1917 by L. Dow Balliett which was helped along in the 30s by Florence Campbell, and within the next few years a wealth of literature was available for the general population. Certainly, in case you glance at the past 90 years, it’d look like that the discipline has moved very quickly. But perhaps this was known at a much earlier time, and it was simply hiding from us for some time.

Numerology is probably the least difficult of the occult arts to recognize and use. All you need is the birth date and the total name of an individual to unlock each of the secrets that the figures hold.
There are eleven numbers used in producing Numerology charts. These numbers are 1, 11, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and twenty two. Larger numbers which come about from adding the numbers in the complete date of birth and from the values assigned to each title, are lowered by having the digits together until the sum achieved is among the main numbers. Merely put in the components of the larger number together (repeatedly, if ) that is necessary until one digit (or maybe the “master” numbers 11 or 22) results. Each one of these number represents different expressions and qualities.

Master number are the sole exception to rule of lowering to the one digit. The master numbers 11 and twenty two are reputedly intensified versions of the one digit number they replace (2 and four). These numbers suggest a possibility for a high level of learning and/or achievement very often in an stressful environment. In the majority of individuals, the master numbers work at a far more tangible or maybe practical level, becoming essentially the same as the digit parallel.

The first consideration of numerology is usually the particular date of birth. This particular date, expressed numerically, as mm/dd/yyyy, is used to determine what’s known as the Lifepath Number and a variety of other things in the numerology reading.
